Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, disclose, and protect information across our website, Compliance Software, and Payroll Software.
3 Times Logistics LLC ("3 Times Logistics," "we," "us," or "our") is based in Houston, Texas, and provides a public website, professional trucking compliance services, and two software subscription products — Compliance Software and Payroll Software (together, the "Services") — to trucking and logistics businesses in the United States and elsewhere. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, the choices available to you, and how to contact us.
This Policy applies to visitors of our website, individuals who submit inquiries or applications to us, and users of the Services. Where our customers ("Customers") use the Services to manage information about their own personnel, contractors, drivers, carriers, vendors, or investors, Section 4 explains our role with respect to that information.

1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information, depending on how you interact with our website and the Services.
1.1 Identity and contact information
Name, email address, phone number, mailing or business address, and job title, collected when you create an account, contact us, subscribe to the Services, apply for a position, or submit an inquiry.
1.2 Account credentials
When you create an account, we store your email address and a one-way cryptographic hash of your password; we never store your password in plain text, and our staff cannot view it. Our password-recovery feature generates and emails a temporary, single-use, time-limited verification code to your registered email address; the code is invalidated once used, once a newer code is issued, or once it expires.
1.3 Company and business information
If you subscribe to the Services on behalf of a business, we collect the business's name, address, contact details, tax identification information (such as an EIN), and related company profile information you choose to provide.
1.4 Personnel, driver, carrier, contractor, owner-operator, vendor, and investor information
Where a Customer uses the Services to manage its own workforce and business relationships, the Customer or its authorized users may enter information about the Customer's employees, contractors, owner-operators, drivers, carriers, vendors, and investors. Depending on the module used, this can include names, contact information, driver's license and CDL information, motor vehicle records, background check results, Social Security numbers or EINs, bank account and routing numbers for direct deposit or other payout methods, pay rates and compensation structure, tax withholding elections, and insurance or operating authority details for carriers. This information is entered and controlled by the Customer; see Sections 4 and 5 for our role with respect to it.
1.5 Uploaded documents
The Services allow Customers to upload documents relevant to compliance and payroll operations, such as certificates of insurance, driver qualification files, vehicle registration and inspection records, and payroll or tax documents. Uploaded documents are stored under the Customer's account and are accessible only to authorized users of that account, unless the Customer chooses to extend access through a dedicated portal available on certain plans.
1.6 Billing and payment information
We use Stripe, a third-party payment processor, to process subscription payments. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers; see Section 6.
1.7 Support and other communications
If you contact our support team through the in-application chat, submit a website inquiry, or otherwise communicate with us, we retain the content of those communications, associated metadata such as the date and time, and, for support tickets, records of which staff member handled the interaction and any feedback you provide about it.
1.8 Job application information
If you apply for a position with us, we collect the information you submit in your application, including contact details, employment and driving history, endorsements and qualifications, and any resume, license, or supporting document you choose to upload.
1.9 Website inquiries and newsletter subscriptions
Forms on our website may collect your name, company name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message or request, including details such as DOT or MC number and fleet size where relevant to a compliance services inquiry. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and apply an automated safeguard against abusive or repeated submissions that relies on a cryptographic hash of your IP address rather than the address itself.
1.10 Technical and device information
Our servers automatically log standard technical information associated with your requests, such as IP address, browser type, and access timestamps, for security, troubleshooting, and abuse-prevention purposes.
1.11 Cookies and session information
We use a limited set of cookies and browser storage values described in full in our Cookie Policy.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including creating and administering accounts and company workspaces;
- To authenticate users and secure accounts, including password recovery through one-time verification codes;
- To process transactions and administer billing through our payment processor;
- To enable the compliance management, document management, driver and carrier record-keeping, and payroll processing features a Customer has subscribed to;
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries;
- To send transactional communications, such as account notices, invitations, billing notices, password-reset codes, and document or compliance reminders;
- To send newsletter or informational communications to subscribers who have opted in, each with the ability to unsubscribe;
- To evaluate job applications;
- To maintain the security and integrity of the Services, detect and prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce our Terms;
- To troubleshoot issues, maintain records, and improve the Services; and
- To comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We process personal information on the legal bases available to us under applicable law, which, depending on the circumstances, may include performance of a contract with you or your organization, our legitimate business interests in operating and securing the Services, compliance with a legal obligation, and, where required, your consent.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use session and authentication cookies to keep you signed in, and limited browser storage for interface preferences such as theme and layout. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on our website or in the Services. Full details, including cookie names, purposes, and how to manage them, are available in our Cookie Policy.
4. Customer-Controlled Data and Our Role
Our Services are designed for business Customers to manage their own compliance and payroll operations. Where a Customer submits, uploads, or enters business data — including information about the Customer's own personnel, contractors, drivers, carriers, vendors, or investors — that data belongs to and is controlled by the Customer. With respect to that data, we act as a service provider, processing it on the Customer's behalf and instructions to provide the Services the Customer has subscribed to. We do not claim ownership of Customer business data merely because it is stored using the Services, and we do not use it for purposes other than providing, securing, supporting, and improving the Services, except as the Customer authorizes or as required by law.
Each Customer's data is logically separated from every other Customer's data, and access within a Customer's account is controlled by the roles and permissions that Customer's administrators configure.
5. Employee, Contractor, and Personnel Information
Because the Services allow a Customer to manage information about its own employees, contractors, drivers, and other personnel, the Customer is responsible for determining the lawful basis for collecting and processing that information, providing any notices required to those individuals, and obtaining any consents required under applicable law. 3 Times Logistics is not the employer of a Customer's personnel and does not itself determine why or how a Customer collects information about them, except with respect to 3 Times Logistics' own employees. An individual with questions about information a Customer has entered about them in the Services should generally direct those questions to that Customer.
6. Payment Information
Subscription payments are processed through Stripe. When you complete a purchase, your payment details are submitted directly to Stripe's secure checkout; 3 Times Logistics does not receive or store your full card number. We retain the billing information necessary to administer your subscription, such as your billing email address, selected plan, and the identifiers Stripe assigns to your customer and subscription records. If a Customer enables optional carrier billing through its own connected Stripe account, that connection and any associated payment data are controlled by the Customer's own Stripe account, not by us.
7. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: to vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing (Stripe) and email delivery, under obligations consistent with this Policy;
- Third-party integrations you enable: where a Customer chooses to connect a supported third-party integration, information is exchanged with that provider as needed for the integration the Customer has enabled;
- Legal obligations: where required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
- Protection of rights: to protect the rights, property, or safety of 3 Times Logistics, our users, or others, including to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues;
- Corporate transactions: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality safeguards; and
- With your direction or consent: where you have authorized a specific disclosure.
8. International Data Transfers
3 Times Logistics is based in the United States, and our infrastructure and service providers may process and store information in the United States or other countries in which we or our service providers operate. If you or your organization access the Services from outside the United States — for example, where a U.S.-based Customer uses the Services to manage information about a contractor or worker located in another country — information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in a country other than that individual's own, where privacy laws may differ from those of that country. Where applicable law requires specific safeguards for such transfers, we take steps designed to provide a level of protection appropriate to the circumstances and consistent with that law. Use of the Services by a business Customer on behalf of, or in relation to, an individual located outside the United States does not, by itself, make that individual a direct customer of 3 Times Logistics.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and the law that applies to you, you may have rights with respect to personal information relating to you, which can include the right to:
- Request access to, and a copy of, the personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Request deletion of your information, subject to the lawful exceptions described in Section 14;
- Request a portable copy of certain information you have provided to us;
- Restrict or object to certain processing of your information;
- Opt out of certain uses or disclosures of your information, where applicable; and
- Where required by applicable law, appeal a decision we make in response to your request, and not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.
These rights vary by jurisdiction and are subject to applicable legal exceptions and limitations; not every right described above is available to every individual in every location, and we will evaluate and respond to each request under the law that actually applies to it.
Where information is entered into the Services by a business Customer about its own personnel or business contacts, we generally direct such requests to the relevant Customer, who controls that data, and we will support the Customer in responding as appropriate. To exercise a right available to you regarding information we hold directly — such as your own account, website inquiry, or job application information — contact us using the details in Section 16. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
10. Additional Notice for California Residents
California residents have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA"), including the right to know what personal information is collected, used, and disclosed; the right to request deletion; the right to correct inaccurate personal information; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA. California residents may submit a request using the contact details in Section 16.
11. Notice for Users in Other Regions
Data protection laws in other jurisdictions, including the European Union, the United Kingdom, and other U.S. states, may apply to our processing of information depending on factors such as where you are located, the nature of the Services provided to you, and the type of information involved. Where such a law applies, we intend to honor the rights and obligations it establishes for the personal information within its scope, in addition to, and without displacing, the rights described in Section 9. If you believe a specific data protection law applies to your interaction with us and you wish to exercise rights under it, please contact us using the details in Section 16, and we will address your request under the law that applies.
12. Children's Privacy
Our website and Services are intended for business use by adults and are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete it.
13. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure, including password hashing, encrypted transmission, encryption of certain sensitive stored data, session security controls, and role-based access controls enforced on every request. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We do not represent that our systems hold any particular third-party security certification unless we have separately confirmed that to you in writing.
14. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, for the duration of the applicable account or subscription, and thereafter as needed for legitimate business purposes, including maintaining financial, billing, audit, and legal records, resolving disputes, enforcing our agreements, and complying with applicable legal or regulatory retention obligations. If a subscription is canceled, associated data is generally retained rather than immediately deleted, so that service can resume if the Customer resubscribes. A Customer's administrator may request permanent deletion of the Customer's account and associated data, which we will carry out subject to any outstanding obligations and applicable legal retention requirements. Backup copies and records we are required to retain for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes may persist for a period after a deletion request even where corresponding primary records have been removed.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our Services, or applicable law. We will revise the "Last Updated" date above when we do, and, for material changes, we will provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the website or Services after a revised Policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
